Extractable Content

Content written and formatted so a specific fact, definition, or answer can be lifted out cleanly by a search engine or AI model.
Detailed Explanation

Extractable content is writing structured so that a single sentence, list, or paragraph can stand alone as a complete, accurate answer without needing the rest of the page for context — clear topic sentences, direct answers before elaboration, and scannable formatting.

Why It Matters

AI systems don't read a page start to finish — they extract the most relevant fragment. Content that isn't extractable simply doesn't get quoted, however accurate it is.
