"Why doesn't ChatGPT mention us?"

We build websites for a living. We could show a client exactly where they ranked on Google. We had nothing to show them about AI.

The traffic was falling.
The rankings weren't.

Every SEO tool we had said our clients were winning. Their enquiry forms said otherwise.

The tools couldn't explain it, because what they measure isn't where the answer was being given. Someone asked an assistant which agency to use, got three names, and never opened a results page at all. So we started checking by hand: asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity the questions our clients' buyers actually ask, and recording who got named instead. It worked. It also didn't scale past a handful of sites.

We started building LazyCats AI in January 2026. It's that process, automated — and it's the first thing we run when a new client comes to us.

We have to take our own advice.

Most AI visibility tools are built by people who never have to implement their own recommendations. We ship client sites every week.

Lazy Cats has been building websites since August 2019, founded in London and now based in Europe, delivering globally. We've been Webflow Experts since 2021 and are now a Webflow Premium Partner — a certification held by a small number of agencies worldwide.

We've shipped work for SaaS companies in the UK, US, Netherlands and Israel, a gene editing pioneer, a title insurer in Florida, and the largest luxury furniture showroom in Romania.

That range is the point. A recommendation that works for a Manhattan title insurer and for a dentist in Ohio has been tested against two very different problems.
